I am a database analyst by trade.  My areas of expertise are SQL Server database development, ETL/SSIS, systems integration, and some .NET application development.  I currently work with a highly competent technical team at an acute care hospital in North Texas.

In the years since I began working in information technology, I have been fortunate to have worked my way up from the bottom, learning a great deal along the way.  I first began as a PC technician for an IT services company, replacing hard drives and troubleshooting Windows issues.  Three jobs and more than eight years later, I now spend most of my time neck-deep in SQL Server solving complex business and technical problems.

My accomplishments include earning the MCTS certification (Database Administration) on SQL Server 2005, the MCDBA certifiation on SQL Server 2000, and an Associate's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
